About Me:
I am very excited to be working at Brooke Elementary School! This is my seventh year teaching special education. I graduated from Warren Wilson College with a B.A. in Psychology and received my Master's in Education Policy and Leadership from American University. I taught for two years in Washington, D.C. and four years in Seattle, WA. I also recently graduated from Seattle Pacific University with my Principal Certification. I enjoy running, taking my dog swimming, and going hiking. I just moved to Austin in August and am enjoying exploring the city!
How I support the Green Eco Initiative:
I will limit the amount of materials that are being printed, create activities and materials that can be reused, and will model being a green citizen to our students at Brooke.
Technology in the classroom:
As a Special Education Teacher, I will support the teachers use of technology in the classroom. I will work with students to increase their understanding of how to use technology.
